1530's Gown
Working alongside Ninya Mikahla at The Tudor Tailor, I created a gown, Kirtle, coif and hood as listed in Lady Margaret Douglas's clothing accounts of 1531.
None of the fabric was aloud to be more than 22'' wide as that is how wide fabric was at the time
I used replication jewels from Anne Bolyne's famous portrait to decorate the neck edge of my Kirtle and then decorated my gown with gold chains as commonly seen in Tudor portraiture.

I based the neckline of my Kirtle off of an effigy of Jane Knightley
The back neckline of my Kirtle is based off of a sketch by Hans Holbein the younger
